The Ravine Waterpark in Paso Robles
July 27th, 2008 Posted in UncategorizedIf it is too hot to visit the fair during the day, don’t forget about the Ravine Waterpark. Admission is just under $20 per person, and the parking is free. Here you will find a medium-sized waterpark with several slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, 2 speed slides and a play area for young children. If you have the energy and it isn’t too hot, the park also offers beach volleyball. This is the perfect place to cool off on a hot Paso day. Not to worry; the fair will still be open in the late afternoon when temperatures start to ease.
The waterpark doesn’t allow food and drink to be brought in, but there is a snack bar offering hamburgers, burritos, barbecued sandwiches and the like. Also, there is a gift shop at the admittance gate that carries probably most everything you may have forgotten to pack: suntan lotion, candy, swimsuits, gifts, sunglasses, etc. And we always forget something; right? I know I do!
Directions: From Paso Robles, go east on Highway 46 approximately 2.5 miles to Airport Road. Turn left onto Airport Road, and then go 1/4 mile. The park will be on the left…
