“Wine Down” in Paso Robles
September 28th, 2008 Posted in Real EstateLast evening, I attended my first official “Wine Down.” One of the agents in our Keller Williams Realty Office came up with the idea of getting together with other agents in town one Friday a month at the local Marriott Hotel in Paso Robles to drink wine, visit and become better acquainted. All agents in the San Luis Obispo North County area are invited for this event the last Friday of each month at 4:30 pm…
Soliciting agents for one office or another is off limits. The intent of this event is to get to know one another better, forge great personal and professional relationships, share information about our local real estate industry and just have a good time. Knowing the agents you are likely to have escrows with goes a long way toward understanding that agent’s perspective, personality and helps promote smooth escrows. After all, we are all hoping for the same result – happy clients!
Last night was the third such event and the first one I attended. About 20 agents showed up, which was a pretty good turnout since the Presidential debate started at 6:00 pm. I was able to talk with several agents I haven’t seen on a social basis in quite some time, and a good time was had by all.
If you are an agent or broker practicing in San Luis Obispo County, feel free to join us the last Friday in October for our “Wine Down.” We would love to meet you!
