109 Degrees In Paso Robles & $35 Million in Marijuana Plants
July 8th, 2008 Posted in Local NewsWell, folks, it was 109 degrees here in Paso today, which is pretty unusual. Needless to say, I stayed inside. Not to fret, though… We are cooling off to 61 degrees for the evening, and it will be 96 by Saturday. Our hot weather has been accompanied by quite a bit of smoke from all of the fires surrounding us, which won’t be missed once the fires are under control.
On another interesting note, 7,081 marijuana plants worth $35 million were confiscated on a ridge near Hearst’s Castle today. They will be destroyed after they are all accounted for. I wonder who gets that job???
