New Paso Robles Courthouse to Open Mid-October

The new Paso Robles Courthouse at the corner of 10th and Spring Street is due to open sometime mid-October. The initial construction began in March of 2007, which isn’t too bad considering it is a 2-story, 23,000 square foot building with initially two courtrooms and the ability to add two more when necessary.
The new courthouse will handle mostly civil and family law cases as that is the majority of cases that arise in North San Luis Obispo County and will provide 25 new jobs to the Paso Robles area. Initially, when the courthouse first opens, the employees will start with processing ticket fines and paperwork before it ramps up to actual trials.
