July 11th, 2008 Posted in Good Times & EventsMotogiro America, a classic motorcycle timed-tour, covers more than 100 miles a day during its 5-day route and explores Monterey Peninsula’s twisting country roads, challenging mountain passes and spectacular coastal views. Key Italian manufacturers of high-performance motorcycles and scooters and makers of apparel and accessories will participate.
Early registration on Friday, July 11, and check-in at Monterey Hyatt Resorts.
Saturday, July 12, Moto Concorso & Mid America Auction and kickoff dinner.
Sunday, July 13, 8:30 am – Motogiro American START at Cannery Row.
Paso Robles Itinerary:
Monday, July 14
Ride south to Paso Robles via the FAMOUS BIG SUR PACIFIC COAST AND HISTORIC Ft Hunter Ligget Base. Very beautiful drive, but make sure the Coastal Highway is not closed due to recent fires.
Tuesday, July 15
Ride eastern loop; Ride western and southern loop. Return to Paso Robles through vineyards and open pastures.
Wednesday, July 16
Ride western and southern loop; Ride eastern loop through remote farm valleys and return to Paso.
